What the average UK house price of £350,000 will buy you in the North East
Property prices continue to climb and the average price of a house in the UK has exceeded £350,000 for the first time, according to Rightmove.
The property’s website said typical asking prices reached £354,564 in March, up 1.7% or £5,760 from February. It was the largest monthly increase for this time of year in 18 years and pushed the annual growth rate of asking prices to 10.4%.
We set out to find out what’s on the market in Newcastle, Northumberland, Gateshead, Sunderland, County Durham, North Tyneside and South Tyneside for around £350,000. And looking at Rightmove, here’s what we found.
